SocrLabs Training Programs

When you respond with “just a minute”, it means you’ll reply or get onto the task immediately when you finish what you’re doing currently.
When your kids yell out “just a minute”… well, that can mean a whole lot of things.
At SocrLabs, when we talk about a “minute”, we’re talking about being “on the ball” for a minute straight, or attacking a speed drill for a minute.
And if you want to make time stand still, try blasting over hurdles, then passing, then shooting, then more hurdles, passing and shooting a few more times… all inside of a minute at full speed and your highest intensity. Read More

PRACTICE TIRED TO PLAY TIRED (WELL)

Real world, game type fatigue is what you can't really see in these short clips. The first 25 seconds of sprinting goes pretty smoothly but the last 35 to 45 seconds is where the advancement comes from for these driven soccer players. This fatigue factor combined with rapid reaction and ball touch drills is what gives these kids "the edge"! Read More

Improve Your Soccer Skills at SocrLabs

No matter which sport you play, you need to be at the top of your game to be able to clinch a win. Especially in a sport like soccer, which is a team game you simply can't afford to lag behind because of some weakness of yours or, some bad habit which becomes a hurdle for you during every game you play. You need to get rid of the weakness if you want to continue to be on the team or else, some other player with the right set of skills would soon be replacing you.

But it is easier said than done, players often develop bad habit like using only one foot instead of both, which prevent them from utilizing their full potential on the field. Such habits make them a burden for the team when they have the talent to become an asset for it. If these bad habits are not corrected at the right time, then the player would fail to perform over and over again and fall behind others. With right training any player can overcome such bad habits, but your regular training sessions on the field would hardly be of any use in this case.

The SocrLabs facility is just the right place for handling such issues, this is a youth indoor soccer development center, which offers soccer specific training. The training programs here are much edgier and the use of advanced gears make things even better for the players who come here for training. None of the drills they perform are like the regular ones they do on the field, these help each player work on his problem areas and enhance their skills.

Since the players at SocrLabs have access to every kind of advanced equipment coupled with innovative and customized training programs, they find it much easier to find solutions to their problems. With training they eventually find success at getting rid of their weakness and develop skills which would help them on the field.

Bring your entire team to the SocrLabs facility today and watch them transform into elite players.

I'm definitely not "all right"...

Breaking old habits and starting new one; studies are all over the map when it comes to defining exactly what is needed to break an old bad habit and replace it with a new good habit.

But one thing is universally accepted when it comes to habit… it requires repetition.

Whether it’s 21-days or 7-days or 50-days, the bottom line is that it takes repetition to make these bad habits disappear and the new habits to “stick”.

Recently a new group of kids came into SocrLabs and 1 kid in particular simply had no capability to use his left foot.  Read More

I'M NOT "ALL RIGHT" ANY MORE...

Recently a new group of kids came into SocrLabs and 1 kid in particular simply had no capability to use his left foot.
He’s been playing soccer on a club team for 3 years but he did everything with his right foot no matter how the ball was played to him. 3-years of club soccer and still using only half his capability.  Read More

SPEED & CONTROL - 2 ESSENTIAL SOCCER INGREDIENTS

Youth soccer athletes training at SocrLabs are gaining both speed and skill through proper body mechanics, form, and structure while adding control to their game by putting their foot on the ball more in 10 minutes than the number of "touches" they normally get in a full soccer game or a full practice.

Kids, Soccer and Blinking Lights

We’ve all heard the complaints about how kids “don’t want to put in the work” to become good at soccer.

They don’t like to run, they don’t like to perform drills, they don’t like to do anything but screw around and play games or scrimmage.

And from what I’ve seen; this is true.

Sure, there are the hard-core soccer athletes that train for the love of physical conditioning but this is the rare exception... especially in the younger age groups. Read More
